Objective
To give every child in the South Colonie Central School District an opportunity to play football regardless of weight or experience. This program is affiliated with the school program. Every football player in the program from K-12 will work very closely together to learn the fundamentals of football and experience a positive football environment.
Levels
- K-2nd Grade Flag Football (Second graders with tackle experience will be able to play in the Junior Division)
- 3rd-4th Grade Junior Tackle Division
- 5th-6th Grade Senior Tackle Division
- 7th Grade Tackle Division
*Players have the potential of playing down a division or up a division based upon their size and experience as determined by the Executive Board.
Cost
$90—this includes everything. No association dues are collected because we do not answer to a regional or national chapter. The Junior Raiders program will have all brand new equipment and uniforms, as safety is a very high priority for every child that participates.
$60—Registration fee for anyone that played youth football in 2012 (Pop Warner/AAU/Jr. Plainsmen)
Opportunities to participate for FREE will be made available through player/parent participation in spring fund raising events. A deposit can be made at registration, rather than paying the full amount up front. The full amount must be paid by Monday, August 22nd.
